An Epidemic in a Pandemic – the Opioid Crisis on Steroids

Everyone is aware of the continuing opioid epidemic and the loss of tens of thousands of lives every year. But combine the epidemic with a pandemic and brace for bad news: in the past 12 month period, isolation, loss of work, and economic hardship have rocketed the death count to a record high that is almost 27% higher than the preceding year.
