HarborPath Receives Grant from the Elton John AIDS Foundation for the Second Consecutive Year
For the second consecutive year, HarborPath has been awarded a grant from the Elton John AIDS Foundation to expand its ability to help uninsured individuals living with HIV/AIDS gain access to their medications at no cost. HarborPath provides the only web-based portal with a single application for healthcare professionals to apply for industry patient assistance programs (PAPs) on behalf of their uninsured patients with no other access to life-saving medication.
This award will support the expansion of HarborPath’s pharmacy capabilities and portal functionality, making it easier for healthcare professionals to determine PAP eligibility for multiple programs, apply for, and monitor delivery status for all medications in a patient’s full treatment regimen. Additionally, grant funds from the Foundation will allow HarborPath to provide greater education and training opportunities to healthcare professionals as they utilize HarborPath’s portal functionalities to guide patients alternating between AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) waiting lists and traditional PAP programs to receive their medications.
HarborPath is honored by the continued support of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, which will enable us to expand our outreach and help more patients access their life-saving medications.
